Based on a true story

Hello everyone!

Second blog post... I feel a little strange, writing these lines, I never was that blogger type, but maybe there are some people on this site, interested in what I write here, so it's worth another shot (or a few more, it depends) and I wanted to share this story with you.

So it's about how I came up with the idea of this story. I actually had a similar talk with my mother a few weeks before I saw the contest. I showed her a few episodes of the Black Mirror show, and since it had a few episodes about virtual reality, we talked a little about it afterward. She said, that she would never let anyone make her live in a virtually created world, she's too old-fashioned for that.

When I saw the contest, I recalled that talk and decided to write a story based on that, so I recreated that conversation and adding a few more relatives, and coming up with a few more things.

You know, I actually told my mother about the story after submitting it, though since nobody, that I know personally, knows that I'm a brony, I left that part out, so I altered it a little (I know what you think, but I'm too closet brony for it...). She liked it, though when I asked her, what did she think about the end, I still waiting for her to answer, whether they were the real ones, or not. What do you think? I'm thinking of maybe writing a sequel for it, though putting some more time, and not rushing this time.
