So I heard this user is threatening suicide because of bullying on this site. Don’t know what’s really going on because I’m at work and currently in a break.
1. What is the reason why people are bullying this user
2. How long was this happening
3. Do your best to try and convince then otherwise
From one person to another, I was suicidal once too. Stood on the balcony of the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas during New Years and was contemplating jumping. Decided not to because I can’t stand my mom being sad.
The user Princess Cadance attempted to submit a MAP ("minor-attracted person") fic into the annual "Pride & Positivity" LGBTQ+ event. Naturally, because it was a MAP fic, the story was instantly met with massive backlash, and both it and its author were promptly banned from the group. Cadance also deleted comments criticizing the story's content (eventually disabling the story's comment section entirely), which forced users to move their negative reviews to blog posts, further escalating the situation.
As it turns out, Cadance had been suffering from harassment for writing foalcon (and for being a MAP) for quite some time, to the point they had been contemplating suicide. They planned to let the response to the story "decide for them”, and, given the aforementioned negative reactions to it, posted a "suicide note" via their blog. They haven't been online since.
All hell's broken loose. People are trying to figure out Cadance's identity so they can contact local authorities, while others are taking turns blaming each other for driving Cadance to suicide with their negative reviews of the story. It's an absolute fucking mess on all possible fronts. Nobody's come out of it unscathed. Everyone hates everyone. It's some of the worst internet drama I've ever seen, period.
To be honest, I almost think you're lucky for missing out on it.
Pretty much what the last guy said, pretty obvious people don't like that sort of stuff, myself included, my brother has spouted shit about these MAP's (just found what this means), my dad aswell, and its always hostile.
I get it in some aspects because under age people shouldn't be subjected to anything like that, but the death threats and hate these MAP's get is ridiculous. It doesn't matter if they act upon their desires or not, people take it upon themselves to deliver 'justice' to these people irregardless of consequences and more often then not utterly ruin the lives of these individuals.
I don't support or endorse or in any shape or form condone pedophilla, it is a law for a reason, I simply would like to be able to see these people have the right to the same lives as everyone else and that those who do drive people like PRINCESS CADENCE, to suicide be brought to justice same as I hope a MAP is brought to justice for acting upon their desires.
I have already posted a message on the users suicide note but I don't have high hopes for it doing any good.

I see. So there really isn’t any clear good guys and bad guys. Never do I get involved with that foalcon shit for obvious reasons and normally don’t pay attention to that LGBT stuff despite supporting them. Just here for good fics and exchanging ideas.
Well I hope the user isn’t like that in real life tho.

The good news is that Cadance has since come back online and posted another blog; apparently, they convinced themselves not to go through with it. So, at the very least, there's a silver lining to all this.
