Season Two Mini Episode 1 Up! (June 25th)

Hello my lovely readers! Today we have the first little mini-episode for you. Or Short Trek, if you prefer to call it that. These are little teeny insights into various characters that we wouldn’t get to see from Sunset or Twilight’s perspective. Sometimes our protagonists will be involved, and sometimes not, and even when they are, it’s never their point of view we’re seeing.

This first one is very much tongue-in-cheek at myself. I admit I experimented a little here… I wanted to write the usual kind of scene we see in many romance movies or shojo animes and manga, where the heart is going doki-doki and they’re super duper nervous, and yet the one they’re after is much more suave and sweeps them off their feet.

Might also be basing this just a little bit on past experiences of mine too. You’re free to guess which role I fulfilled.

Hopefully this bit of light-hearted fare will help ease a bit of tension going on. Of course Wednesday’s is going to ratchet it right back up into the stratosphere.

Meanwhile, in personal news: I’m trying not to die in the heatwave out here in the Pacific Northwest. I’m fortunate in that I have A/C, but even with A/C… we’re talking temperatures more like Las Vegas or Phoenix in late July, in a region with far more moisture and therefore, far worse effects of heat. And I’m prone to overheating at far lower temperatures.

And I’m the lucky one. Poor Blue doesn’t even have A/C.

Soooo…. Let’s hope we survive.
