Good day,
For those who have read my previous blog post about me denouncing my citizenship to Byelorussia, I have come forward again only because of serious concerns regarding the welfare of people trapped in the Byelorussian dictatorship.
Recently, a few concerning things have happened. Namely:
- The Ryanair Incident where Roman Protasevich, an opposition figure in Byelorussia, was flying to Lithuania over the territory of Byelorussia. The plane he was on was forced to land so that authorities could arrest him. He was a journalist who covered the events of the Byelorussian 2020 election and the peaceful protests following it, and was arrested for "terrorism and inciting riots." He was paraded around by the state like a trophy just yesterday and claimed to have renounced his views, clearly under duress. Source
- It has banned most of its citizens travelling abroad, meaning that people effectively can no longer flee the country. Source
- Yellow tags have been sewn into prisoners clothing who have been arrested for political opposition to Lukashenko and his state. These are meant to be seen in public so people can known who was in opposition against Lukashenko during the protests. These prisoners while in prison are forced to stand apart from other prisoners and say: "I'm prone to extremism." Source
As such, I would like to draw people's attention to charities looking to support and finance people who have lost their jobs and access to their bank accounts following the hard repression of rights for people who wanted to stand up for democracy in their country. These people have arbitrarily been arrested, beaten, tortured, and even killed because they do not think that Lukashenko is the legitimate president of Byelorussia. I urge everyone who can to consider donating to one of these charities, or at the very least be mindful of the Byelorussians who are suffering.

Thank you for your time.
I feel sorry for the people of Belarus and the hell they are going through. Hopefully it will end, the senile old devil goat can't live forever.

I hope that there will be a better tomorrow. These people have been through hell for too long. It's about time they are able to break the yoke of oppression.
