Due to an unexpected personal issue, there will be no update this week.
I've tried my best to get these chapters out to you every Monday for the past several months, and have been mostly successful. It's been important to me to keep up this schedule, because I find that imposing a deadline on myself is highly motivating.
Unfortunately, this evening I was hit with some news that means I won't be able to deliver an update this week. My time is going to have to be devoted elsewhere, and more importantly, I'm too emotionally distracted right now to produce anything near the level of quality which I would be happy sharing with you.
Please don't be concerned about me personally; I'll be fine, I just need a little breathing room. I will be back a week from today, Monday December 10th, and will return to normal weekly updates from then on. Don't worry, this story is getting finished right, no matter what.
I'm sorry if anyone's disappointed. This really is an extraordinary circumstance far beyond my control, so I hope you all understand.

I'd suppose, in any case, it's hard to properly visualise forcing sexual intercourse on miniature child cartoon horses in times of emotional trauma.
I would say something along the lines of 'get well soon', but since you're not physically sick and I'm not informed, I'll have to say 'best of luck'.
