It's all part of a scavenger hunt I've been running... with a prize!
This scavenger hunt spans across Fimfiction (and a couple of particularly plucky websites I own and operate), where I've hidden/will hide 41 hex-encoded "fragments" of a larger whole.
Most of these have been posted outright, either as walls of directly-copyable hex code, or they may be links to hex files posted onto pastebin or my website(s). Regardless, nearly all of these fragments can be found by browsing through both the group linked above, and the blogs that I have posted.
Others, however, may take a little more effort. They may be re-encoded into various formats, or hidden behind passwords that must be deciphered from other hints. Some, in fact, may be hidden in plain sight. You may be rickrolled. Who knows?
Once these 41 fragments have been collected, it is up to you to assemble and decipher the greater whole. You may come across roadblocks. You might find it to be nothing but a red herring. You may be rickrolled.
Beyond these 41 fragments, there exist countless additional hints that have been scattered across the site, whether they be in comments, blog posts, or even the chapters of stories themselves. It may very well be as plain as day. Or it may be that they're deeply obfuscated. Who knows? You may be rickrolled.
But, with introductions now out of the way, let's talk about what this whole scavenger hunt's about.
On Fimfiction, I have three alt accounts, two of which I post stories under. The first one is known by those familiar to my work. The third is a red herring. The second, however, has been a part of a long-running experiment that I shall not mention any further.
I've since declared this primary experiment complete.
The first person to name this alt account in a PM to me will receive a free (up to) SFW 20,000-word commission.
The rules are simple:

- Do NOT PM the account you think is my alt. PM me instead, or make a thread in the forum of this group.
- Brute-forcing your search by asking me about every user within X years will disqualify you.
- Have fun!
Yeah yeah, we're going to get rickrolled, I've already been rickrolled, and you know what? I can live with that.
