The Israel/Gaza Situation Has Me Broken

Ignore if you hate this topic. I avoid social media, and I'd rather rant here than the hellhole that is Twitter :rainbowlaugh:

    Already on Step 4

Check this out if you have zero clue what I'm talking about haha.

Did bodyweight squats in front of my physical therapist, and they were good!! Super smooth, great range of motion, and zero tightness for the first few sets. This puts me on step 4 out of 5.

Plan to Cross the Finish Line

Gameplan my physical therapist and I made to overcome my joint issues once and for all. I'd say I'm 90% there, so here is the plan for the last 10%. Primary remaining issue is the left hip weakness causing me to shift much of my weight onto the right hip, which also causes my entire trunk/upper body to twist to compensate for the lean. This messes up my shoulder blade movement as well, leading to

Can Almost See the Light at the End of the Tunnel

After almost a full decade of pain affecting my waking hours, sleep, ability to exercise, and ability to just have fun, I'm almost done!!!!

I define me being done as: Being able to exercise, sleep, stand, sit, lie down, and walk with no pain, instability, or unevenness. It's hard to put a number on a goal like this, but I'd say I'm 85% there.

    Almost Done Beating Genetics

Ughhhhhh why can't I be 100% done, though :raritydespair:

Alright, so despite basically every joint having issues at first, I can minimize the major starting issues to:
    - Right hip tear + instability
    - Left hip tear + instability
    - Left shoulder instability
    - Right shoulder instability

The two bolded ones were the biggest issues. As of now, I have:

Whoever Designed MLP's Wings Should Commit Seppuku · 4:56am May 20th, 2021

As always, my camera skills suck.

Making beautiful wings wasn't the goal here. The goals were to be able to quickly draw the body, and to draw the wings and mane at least somewhat well and quickly in their proper position and rotation. And of course because I hate myself, I chose some absolutely hard poses for a few of them.

Pose #8 definitely gave me troubles with the body (the back two hooves are so small that they don't resemble hooves, so I added the tail to show that Dash is flying). Two points I picked up on are:

1) I keep drawing the body too long and big + the head too small. The arrows in poses #2 and #3 are where the body should've ended.

2)Also, without color, the back mane just looks too messy in some of the poses since it's right over the wings. Even in color, it looked a bit messy. So I just omitted it for now and left an asterisk (poses #4, 6, 8).

Overall, I think I did... okay? I'm definitely able to draw bodies quickly in a variety of poses. I tried a bunch of different wing styles for each, so that took some time. But other than pose #8 and the mane for pose #4, drawing the body, mane, and tail literally takes a minute to 90 seconds.

Yes, Everfree, I am so lazy that I just copy/pasted my PM :rainbowlaugh:

"Angel Midnight Should Commit Seppuku"

Yeah, no. Not happening. You'd miss me too much.

5522331
Also, this is a bit too dark to be funny. I have a grim sense of humour sometimes, but maybe don't make any more jokes like this?

5523571

Can't tell if serious or trick to get point...

5523759
Serious. There are certain things I will and won't stand for, and this is in the second group.

5523772

In that case, that's fine. I won't make these types of jokes with you.

Why are you not a fan of this type of humor, though? I always like hearing people's reasoning for things.

5523779
Unfortunately I lost a good friend a couple of years ago to suicide, so jokes like this aren't exactly my favourite.

5523781

Gotcha. In that case, I won't make jokes like that with you.

And sorry for your loss, Angel.

No way I'll stop making other jokes about you, though ;)
