Hey, y'all. Been a while. A lot has been going on, but I don't want to talk about that. I want to talk about Something About Sunset, a new story I have coming out soon!

So a while ago, I met thedarkprep, who is just such a delight. Anyway, things happened and we wound up coming up with this story. It wasn't meant to go anywhere. It wasn't meant to be anything anyone else knew about. It was just something I said to her in a DM, and something she said back, and something we built on in a phone call. Still, nothing anyone else was supposed to see. But then it grew, and slowly it became something else. Slowly, it became something we could show to others; a real story, something we developed and turned into something worthwhile.

Well, now I've got a three chapter (plus a prologue) fic out of it. And today, I finished editing it! The only thing I'm waiting on now is cover art, then I'll be posting it. I'll post just the prologue at first, then each of the three chapters after that on a daily update schedule. So all in all this fic will publish over just four days, because that's the pace I want for this story. Drawing it out would ruin it. No release date yet, because I don't know when applejackofalltrades will be finished with the cover.

So what's the story? It's not a Who We Become thing, just a standalone fic. I don't really want to say too much about it though, because I really like how much this story feels like a snapshot of a larger life, and giving you all the context kind of ruins the effect. So I'll just share with you this, the long description, title, and chapter titles. I wrote this for thedarkprep who loved it, so it's already a success, but I still hope you all enjoy it as well.
