A Vague-ish Update · 10:57pm Apr 16th, 2021
Vague because I'm in a vague-ish frame of mind... like Vaguely Wanting to Write, Vaguely Feeling Like Shit... Etc.
So two weeks ago, I had a horrific day at work... After I got home from work 3 hours later than I normally would have, I took a long shower.... and as I was drying off, my husband (darling, amazing man that he is) pokes his head in and offers me a glass of wine... Bonus points, he'd almost finished fixing the frozen pizza!
And then surprise I got to play in my D&D game that's based in The Witcher universe because one of the players from the other group had forgotten their laptop while they were visiting family for Easter.
From such highs, there must be a fall though... I started feeling like shit Monday - Full body ache sort of shitty. I forced myself to make a quick run to the store so I could have lunches/breakfasts for the work week, and that was it...
I got up Tuesday morning and felt even WORSE... I took my temp as I usually did before work (because it's required), and notice I'm running a low-grade fever... However, my temp tends to run in the high 96 degree range... so a temp of 99 is a fair bit more concerning to me than to other people. However, because we're horrifically understaffed, and I figured I could power through it, I went to work...............
I made it all of 3 hours.
I got tested for the Plague (Covid-19) Wednesday morning... By Friday, the results were in. Yep... it was The Plague.
So... for the last eleven days, I've been lounging at home... Unfortunately, due to me going down so hard with it, my husband also caught it... He'd gotten one of the vaccines... unfortunately, not the single-dose vaccine, so yeah...
It's been not fun since Easter.
So... my lovelies... please stay safe... AND WEAR A GORRAM MASK... Not for YOUR sake, necessarily, but for EVERYONE ELSE'S!!!
