Today, to once again make a change of pace from sharing my reviews of stuff, I’ve decided to share with you guys another video that I love watching on YouTube every now and then.
Made by MoonGhostDoodles, formerly known as BroozerPunch, this video showcases a rendition of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” that was made years ago by Dreamworks for a short Shrek video of the same title. And yes, I have seen the Shrek video that this video borrowed the song from, and I very much enjoyed it because of its witty choreography and direction.
In regards to what I think of this video, I really must say that this is another one of MoonGhostDoodles’s best videos. Even though I do wish that there’d be a soundtrack version of the song at some point, I enjoyed the timings of the clips and how well they matched the moments of the song and executed sounds. Plus, the MLP characters fit the parts of the Shrek characters flawlessly, especially Discord as Shrek, Pinkie Pie as Donkey, and Applejack as Puss in Boots.
