It'd be cool if the games introduced a mechanic that allowed you to change the typing of a Pokemon. (Changing the appearance as well by doing so) The only thing about it is that it could only be used once a day by one Pokemon and they become pure types, meaning they don't have a second typing.
I don't know if it's a good idea. I mean in Alola and Galar, it took time for certain Pokémon for their physical appearance to change and Type but for Equestria it's an instant instead of decade or centuries.

Thankfully, it's temporary since it's not natural like a standard Regional Form. However, under certain circumstances, they can enter their Equestrian Forms once more. There are gonna be a lot in the future.
