Here's an idea. Make both. Title "married to a goddess (spike version)". It also give the chance to slightly change the story because shining armor and spike like different things and make different choises. Where shining has a sorta military mentality, spike would have a child/teenager mentality.
If you don't want to change your story, you could make spike a sequel. Maybe instead of cadance, maybe use ember or braveheart. IDK.
Finish this one first then go on to do one with spike that way you can do a completely different story then the first one.
