Happy Birthday, Nicole Oliver · 6:36pm Feb 22nd, 2021

Today is Nicole Oliver's birthday. She is the talented woman who voiced Princess Celestia and Cheerilee across the show's nine seasons. She also voiced a couple of one off characters like Tree Hugger and Fleur De Lis, and was the original voice of Spitfire in the character's first speaking appearance, and as if to make up for the role being recast to Kelly Metzeger for subsequent appearances, Nicole Oliver was given the role of Dr. Fauna for two episodes whereas the character had originally been voiced by Cathy Wesluck. And I hear that Nicole has reprised the role of Princess Celestia for Pony Life.

Happy birthday, Nicole. You really knew how to bring out the best in your two biggest characters, and I hope that whatever roles come your way next you'll do just as good in.
