Rogue One if it were a Vietnam movie · 8:40pm Feb 8th, 2021
Very well-done.
And also, in my opinion, miles better than the entirety of the *actual* movie.
A guy who loves movies, comic books, video games, as well as stories with colorful talking ponies in them.

0/10, not enough K2S0s
Okay, I'm kidding. That was pretty cool. ^^

Haha, fair enough.
But yeah, this was actually pretty fun.
Agree that this looks good..... disagree on the movie being terrible.

Glad you enjoyed the video.
And you're entitled to your own opinion, but I'm sorry, I just do not get the sheer adoration for Rogue One. Like, at all.
5450627
What about it do you not get? And PLEASE do not be another 'Because Disney' type person. I'm about done with those purist types.

"not get". Oh. Lovely choice of words there. Like you're saying that I don't "understand" the movie and that it's my fault for not enjoying it.
I just didn't like it. I found the story unnecessary, the main characters boring / bland / uninteresting, the new villain to be obnoxious and pathetic, and the ending to be a colossal waste of time because it killed everyone off and I felt no sadness at all for their demise. Except for the snarky robot. He was kind of cool.
But this is an argument I have had many times before, and have no interest in repeating, so please, I am asking you now, do not push this further. I didn't like the movie, that's all there is to it. I have no interest in arguing the point further. So may we please let it go?

I meant the adoration. I figured you didn't like the movie dude. I was just asking what about the adoration gets on your nerves. Jesus Christ man.
5450659
Sorry I reacted that way, but the phrasing of "What do you not get?" frankly gave me no indication that you meant "about the adoration" instead of "about the movie".
5450679
Okay. Sorry then.
5450680
It's all good. And I apologize again, for getting snappy before.
5450682
It's fine.
Not bad. The Vietnam era music really makes it work.
Out of curiosity, did you ever post a review for Rogue One? I enjoyed it for what it was even if I did have some issues with it and I'd be interested to see your take on it.

Yeah, it does do a lot for it, I must admit.
No, I never wrote it up. I mainly got into regularly writing my thoughts on movies after The Last Jedi came out. I suppose I could do a write-up of Rogue One, but on the other hand, I'm in no hurry to go back and rewatch it, given my initial reaction to that movie in theaters.
