Update- I'm still alive, I promise · 11:16pm Feb 5th, 2021
So I know that there's been some concern about the story, but let me reassure you that I am still hard at work and have been making progress. In fact, the next chapter is written, but I am reluctant to publish it until I have the following ones done as I'm afraid they might necessitate some changes and I don't want to do major changes to published chapters.
That being said here's where I stand. I published this before but you can see where I've made progress.

So yeah, making progress, just not what I can show you quite yet. On the bright side, I am now focused on 24/25 and once they are done I should have 8 weeks of chapter updates for you. If I'm lucky I can polish and finish the rest and keep publishing but we'll see. I hope to start publishing again soon and I'm sorry for not updating you on progress, but every time I thought about it I figured it I was going to type about the story I should just write some more of it.
Anyway, thank you so much for your continued interest in Severed Ties and I hope that soon I will be able to let you know when you can expect regular updates again.
I was just thinking about this story. Thank you for the update and no worries. No need to rush. Better wait for well thought story than, well anything else.

Just over including prologues and epilogues. Nothing is definite as some things aren't written. If chapters start getting big they get split which I think might happen with 24/25. I know there's a lot of ground to cover between 23 and 26 which are written but I won't know how they break up until i write them.
