We know what happens when the pearl transforms ponies, dragons and hippogriffs but what about the other races? · 1:03am Jan 16th, 2021
What would happen to changelings, griffons and yaks for example?
I know changelings are able to shapeshift into seaponies but what were to happen if the pearl were to transform one? Would it act in a similar manner to equestrian ponies by just shifting their rear legs into an aquatic tail?
Griffons are especially interesting because of their eagle half being shared with hippogriffs, would they become some sort of "sea-lion" or something?
And I don't even know where to begin with the yaks.
Not sure about the others, but I'm fairly fond of this artist's shark-esque interpretation of Gallus's seapony form:

Granted, it doesn't line up as well with the whole "bird/lion" thing, but I still think it's pretty neat.
