Shadow Five Headcanons

Just recording these thoughts before I call it a night... thought I’d share these for kicks and giggles:

Sunny Flare

• Physically the second-smallest of the Shadow Five.
• Principal Cinch’s niece.
• A bit of a germaphobe.
• For some reason, I imagine her being of Italian descent (I have her cheer "bravissima!" in one story).
• In D&D terms, her highest ability is Charisma, based on how she influenced her friends in Twilight’s Sparkly Sleepover Surprise (Deception and Intimidation skills at work).

Sour Sweet

• Physically the “medium-sized” member of the Shadow Five.
• Due to her bipolar condition, she was widely shunned by her classmates until she befriended Sunny Flare.
• In D&D terms, her highest ability is Dexterity, given her agility and archery prowess in Friendship Games.
• Added 2/23/2021: Some classmates derisively refer to her as "Sunny's attack dog" behind her back.

Sugarcoat

• Physically the smallest of the Shadow Five.
• Is an excellent card player due to her natural poker face (after all, bluffing a hand does not entail speaking a falsehood).
• Given her dedication to the truth, I really enjoy using her as a detective character.
• At least one of her parents is an accountant (numbers don't lie).
• In D&D terms, her highest ability is Wisdom since it is tied to the skills of Animal Handling, Insight, and Perception. She does share Fluttershy’s love of animals in Twilight's Sparkly Sleepover Surprise. The latter two skills are useful for sleuthing.

Indigo Zap

• Physically the tallest of the Shadow Five.
• Her goggles are for swimming.
• Has her belly button pierced.
• In D&D terms, her highest ability is Strength since it is tied to the Athletics skill.
• Added 2/23/2021: Secretly has a crush on Shining Armor, whom she admires as an athlete and past Friendship Games finalist (and cannot believe is related to Twilight Sparkle).

Lemon Zest

• Physically the heaviest and second-tallest of the Shadow Five.
• Has her belly button pierced.
• In D&D terms, her highest ability is Constitution - all the better to survive a mosh pit.

These are some nice headcanons. I can accept a lot of them, to tell the truth.

Reminds me. I once did my own write-ups of some EG headcanons a good while back. I did the Shadowbolts, the Rainbooms, Dazzlings... CHS and CPA... I ought try and get back to it sometime. I never did Sunset Shimmer and I kind of feel like I should! XD
