So... I've been watching the ads that pop up on the site here recently. Either Google got ahold of The Good DrugsTM, or I have a really weird digital footprint.
In the last two days I have seen ads for (among other things):
Furniture (general)
Sectional couch (specific)
Industrial tools (general)
Oil free vacuum pump (specific)
Specialty wrench for skateboards/scooters
Dating (not the 'strutting Pinkie Pie' one)
Dating (the 'strutting Pinkie Pie' one)
Toys for Tots
Brisk Iced Tea
Wish shopping app (suggesting women's 'marital aids', women's barely there swim wear, and radio control cars)
Star Wars jewelry
edit: Upon posting this blog, I got an ad for Blink brand something. I think they were eyedrops/contact lens solution, but the image was all pixelated and I wasn't going to click on it to find out.
Dude Wish has the funniest shit, but also a lot of fun cheap shit and (NSFW) cheap-ass sex and bdsm toys I've been pleasantly impressed with

Honestly, I have not been impressed by Wish. Anything I've found on it, I could find for similar prices on other sites that have much more user friendly interfaces. Basically, Wish doesn't want you to shop around and instead just encourages you to "buy the thing. Now but the other thing. Buy this thing too. No, don't browse, just buy."
I also am leary (depending on what I intend to use them for) of cheep products from countries with notoriously lax product and manufacturing safety. Though that is not a Wish specific complaint.
Mostly I just wonder why this stuff shows up. I haven't shown an interest (that I know of) in any of the listed things.
