The Rebirth of Apophis, The Outer God of Anarchy (spoilers)

**slight spoilers with this one, but who gives a crap**

Yes, folks, what the title says is indeed true: the Primordial Outer God who is responsible for setting the world of the My Little Pony Harmoniaverse is returning to physical form. And this new form is a result of the culmination of power he absorbed upon the death of Ultimate Tirathos.......when the fusion of Dusk Shine and Scorpan beheaded him TMNT style. Were it not for Emerald Wonder's sacrifice in using the Tree Shard of Harmony on The Heartstone during the Great Conjunction of Equestria, he would have amassed enough power from the heavens, and the magical artifacts of his world from past, and present day to control the Chronosphere, and rewrite all of history. This also saw the end of the six Balrogs under Grothmogs command when the Heartstone exploded, and created a rift that tore them asunder as it pulled in anything, and everything in its path.

What noone knew was that this was a two-way door that allowed Apophis' soul to escape from the spiritual plane, where it has remained since Ragnarok, the end of the One Realm, cast him into the spiritual plane, and destroyed his physical form so that all he could do was transfer his essence into other things in order to wield them like tools.

And this leads me to a confession I have to make: everything Apophis has done for Tirek was nothing but bullshit. His relationship to him is indeed equivalent to that of Vader and Palpatine, Megatron and The Fallen (but infinitely better), Slade and Trigon. He groomed Tirek, and his ancestor/past life to become perfect conduits to restore him to his true might. That's why he created a golem made in his dragonian image in order to implant his essence into Tirac so that he could act as a secret conductor to the Outer God. Sure, they share power through their bond......but a secret addition is that whatever power the centaur gained would be copied, and transferred to Apophis, himself. The height of this came in the form of the creation of the first Tirathos, whose very power gave Apophis the might to escape the Realm of Hades, which is the Equestrian Multiverse's half of Mar'Nulum aka The Realm of Darkness aka True Hell, which he'd been confined to until Tirathos came to be. Thanks to the Heartstone, the demise of Tirathos didn't hinder the serpent at all. But he was STILL cursed into this......ghostly form, no doubt as a result of the cosmic energies of Ragnarok effecting him (despite using plenty of Djinn as shields). He was free from Hell, but that was only the first step.

The second step would be carried out by Lord Tirek, the blood descendant, and reincarnation of Tirac.

Thus, the essence of Apophis' own Jinsei, his lifeforce, passed down into this new generation. And as such, it would allow for Apophis to groom a new object of power to see him set free. He conjured the form of a weak, withered and frail Tirathos shortly after Tirek's transformation, claiming that he could get the lost prince what he wanted, and needed. He only needed to accept his training, harness the dark powers within himself, and then accept the Outer God's essence. History repeats, and the demon has a new conduit to give him strength throughout the centuries. Just in case, he had Tirek murder his mother and father in order to give life to a Horcruxian Homunculus named Dismay for potential use. The only inconvenience came when Tirek was banished to Tartarus, and he gained amnesia of their time together. But thanks to a time-travelling Tirek, the present one was set back on track. And as he rebuilt the Kingdom of Midnight, and The Order of the Midnight Masters established themselves, both Tirek and Apophis, who continuously acted as a mentor to him from beyond the veil of life and death, grew stronger. Soon it came time for Tirek to fulfill his destiny, and with the Chronos Gems, The Humanworld Magic, and The Dark Crucible, he would ascend to be the Dark Lord even his ancestor could not be: even initiating a plan to pillage, and cripple the nations of equestria in a unanimous strike that saw the most essential, and powerful of artifacts stolen for Tirek to wield their power, and work in unison with the Conjunction to make him a God that could control the Chronosphere, and rewrite history. Through his fight with Dusk Shine, and Scorpan, Ultimate Tirathos would come to be thanks to the might of the Heartstone and the artifacts, which gave Apophis strength without end. His death, however........was only a hinderance. Because when the rift opened, it breached the very walls of reality, itself. And after passing through, he took possession of his living contingency, Dismay, in order for them to fulfill the purpose for which they were ACTUALLY made: to make the Embodiment of Anarchy and Darkness a new, physical form that matches his newfound power, and combines the elements of all the bodies he's taken before his fall.

So it came to be that Aphophis was reborn, at last.

Lord Tirek had at last served his purpose to the Outer God, which ensured he was even stronger than he was in the days of The War of Light and Dark. However, he was at least gracious enough to make his apprentice whole, and then put him on life support because of the damage his body received from being unable to control the influx of power the Heartstone, and the Magical Relics poured into him during the conjunction. He was nothing more than a liability to the Outer God, now. But his army? That would still serve him well in his bid to dominate Equestria. And at the height of his power, no living being on this earth - not even Discord OR Grogar or even Laurana - can stand up to him. With his power, Apophis may yet bring forth a new Ragnarok to Equestria, and feed on the despair, misery and fear of the calamity to befall them all. Little does he know that his apprentice, who isn't fond of being cast aside for any reason, was already making preparations to return the status quo, and repay the snake for his treachery.

There can only be ONE Outer God in the Equestrian Multiverse, and Tirathos will be that with some help from an ancient, and evil artifact known as.............Kuroi Yoroi.

Midnight shall fall, and even Apophis will learn who is the true master of Darkness.
