As promised with this blog post, I will be detailing what two stories I will be working on for the month of December.
The Tape
How fitting that the first story I've ever published on this website will be the first story that receives this new treatment, but nevertheless, The Tape will be making a comeback this month, but with some major modifications.
The first major modification is that all pony characters will be anthropomorphic in design. I know that this may upset the few who have read the story and liked its pony aesthetic, but I typically find writing ponies easier when they're anthropomorphic as it makes them more human-like, meaning I'm better able to imagine them doing certain actions.
Secondly, the pacing of the story will be much slower in the sense that the story will progress at a slower rate as to dive into the whole mystery aspect of the story. This'll allow me to take my time with major plot points and help me to take myself slowly and not rush anything.
One of a Kind
Originally, this was going to be Judo's Journal, but the overhaul for that story will be much larger than any story I've ever done before, it doesn't help that Judo's Journal has been posted to many websites, making overhauling it all the harder.
The changes for One of a Kind will be mostly similar to The Tape in the way that the overall pacing of the story will be slower as this too has a mystery aspect to it that's important to the narrative as a whole. The other major difference will be the status of certain characters, but I will detail all of that in the Author's Note of the new, revised chapter to be released on December the 25th. And for the final major change, the Point of View will change from 3rd Person Point of View, and to 1st Person Point of View, but to get the thoughts of multiple characters, some chapters will have a different character narrating the story. The majority of the story will be seen through White Feather's eyes, but some chapters will be seen through other characters' eyes, such as Mother's or Gale Winds' eyes.
