I'm nothing short of ashamed of the sheer number of "comeback" blogs I've made over the years promising more content and polished writings, only to ever fail in meeting the expectations I've set for myself and letting my viewers down. This is upsetting since writing is one of the many ways I express myself and pour my creativity, and I share the fruits of my labor with fellow internet dwellers because I love the feeling of providing people with a story to read. And while my writing may not be on the level of Phillip Pullman, Masashi Kishimoto, or other notable writers, I feel safe in saying that the quality of my writing has only improved.
Now, this isn't to say that I've been completely inactive on all my accounts, I've been writing Vore sporadically throughout the year, just not of the pony variety. But that is all going to change tomorrow, Tuesday, and this blog post will be detailing my game plan for quite some time.
Stories
Starting from tomorrow, I'll be working exclusively on two stories throughout the month, one for this account and one for Fetish Account, which will be released on the 25th of every month. These stories will be chosen randomly based on what I personally feel like writing at the moment or any other factors. While these stories will be randomized, I will make a blog post detailing what stories I'm working on on the first Tuesday of every month, whether that'd be rewrites or if another chapter for an existing story is in production.
This new system is will be in place for 3 main reasons. #1 is that it allows me to have a large amount of time to write and edit chapters to work out any grammatical errors and polish the final product to ensure that the best of my skills are being put to the greatest use they can be. #2 is that it gives me time to focus on other skills that I want to focus and develop, mainly drawing and animating as those are two skills that have piqued my interest for more than a couple of years, and now that I have the appropriate resources at hand, I should be able to do both, but more on that in just a bit. #3 is that I do editing for The Sun and the Clover and I would like to devote much time to make sure that I deliver the best product that I can so that you can enjoy his content, which is already just amazing(no seriously, go read that story, it's amazing).
Now, to be sure, these edits won't follow the same flow as my own stories, but the month-long preparation period will give me time to polish my editing skills.
Requests
One of the reasons I want to learn how to draw and animate is because I plan on making a business out of it, but as I've said, that's news for another section of this post. But to practice building a business, I want to be able to build a reliable work ethic and ensure that I'm capable of producing a reliable product in a reliable window of time that can please the person who requested this specific product of me. And to avoid people paying, requests seem like a reliable way to practice business skills, don'tcha think?
So, since requests are to be a pseudo-business practice for me, there will be rules that must be applied, which will be explained now.
Rule #1: 4 Slots.
And the 25th of every month, you all will have a week to request something of me, which for now, will be one-shot stories. I know, I know, one-shots may not be that exciting, but with how I plan to operate with everything else, these limits must be put in place for myself and those who request things of me. Now, there will be 4 slots, two typical story slots where I'll write just about anything that isn't fetish work, the other two slots will be for fetish work. Now, as I've said, on the 25th of each month, I will give people a week to ask a request of me. But once that week is done, you'll have to wait until next time to get a request done for me.
Rule #2: First Come, First Serve.
I know that this rule can tend to be a bit harsh, especially for those who may have circumstances that may prevent them from acquiring a slot in time, but as I've said, rules have to be made, and this is one of them. So, yes, requests will be handed out on a First Come, First Serve basis, meaning the first 4 people to ask a request of me will have those requests attended too. And once those slots are filled, you will have to wait until next time to try. Of course, there will be one exception to the rule, which will be explained in the next rule.
Rule #3: Contact & Attitude
Firstly, you may only contact me through PM's on the accounts listed on this blog post. And yes, you are only permitted to PM me on the accounts listed here and nowhere else. If you try to contact me through my Gmail account or any account associated with me other than these, your request will be ignored and repeated offense will be responded with a block or anything I can to reduce contact(Note that this does not apply to those who already have access to other accounts, but I would still prefer you contact me like everyone else).
Once you've PM'd me, I will proceed to iron out the details of the request, and once we both agree on the terms of the request, I will get to work on it. And once the work is halfway done, which means the story has been written out and all that is left is to do the editing, I will contact the person who made the request to do a little check-up and see if all is well and if they are still waiting for this request to be done. Now, I will give them some time to respond. If they don't respond in the time given, then I will have their request on hold until they do respond. Now, that is not to say that I won't finish the request, I certainly will, the editing will be done and it will be ready for distribution, but I'll have it in a folder until they do respond, which they will get the request they wanted.
And as for attitude, all that I ask is that you be courteous and mindful. I won't mind cuss words or the sort, but insults of me, or of any kind whatsoever, will not be tolerated. If you continue impermissible behavior, I will have your request revoked. That's about it.
Rule #4: Distribution.
As I've said, on the 25th of every month, there will be a week where people are allowed to get a request, and once those 4 slots are full or the week is up, then I will begin working on the requests that I have. Once the finished product is completed, I will send proceed to send everyone who got a request their request in a separate Google Docs separate from the original on the 12th of every month, so that they can edit and toy with it as they see fit while the finished product will stay with me. The reason why I will give them the Google Docs is because I will no longer post the request on any of my accounts that they contacted me on, they will be free to do with the request as they wish, whether it's to post themselves on their accounts or keep it private, that is all up to them. All that I ask is if you do somehow post it, you credit me for the work done.
But as I've said, if someone continued their rude behavior, their request will be revoked, and in exchange, someone else who may not have been able to make it which will be chosen randomly. However, in the unlikely event that this is to happen, the person who takes this hypothetical slot will have to wait until the 25th of that month to get that request sent to them. This exception does not apply to the person who does not respond to my half-way check-up message as those will be put on hold until they do respond, which their request should be done.
Rule #5: What I Won't Write.
Since I'll write just about anything, this'll be about what I won't right. As for fetishes, anything that's too extreme such as necrophilia, although details will be smoothed out over PM conversations. Also, for all my Bronies and Pegasisters: NO FOALCON!!! I know it's a popular kink, but I refuse to write anything with foalcon in it. And as for others, I trust that you will review the rules for content on the website you've contacted me on in the event that you yourself want to post the product, but I'll be sure to do that as well.
With these rules in place, I hope this request deal can be beneficial.
Art & Animation
As stated before, I'm going to start learning how to animate and how to draw. And you'll get to witness my progress drawing firsthand as every month on the 25th, along with the chapters I will release, I will release a piece of art that I made over the course of that time. And just like the With how the stories will be structured, what I draw will be completely randomized, but nobody but myself will know what's coming up so as to keep you guys on your toes... or because I'm evil, pick your poison. And as for animation, I've been thinking about starting my very own battleboarding series like Death Battle, Cartoon Fight Club, and UniVS, though you'll have to wait until the 5th of January before that starts.
But I won't just stop at researched battles, I will also do fan-made battles that are just for fun, so no harm done if a character loses.
That's about it for the updates, I hope you will remain patient with me as I try to adhere to this new schedule and rules I've put on myself. As promised, Tuesday this week will see the beginning of my new game plan.
