“Bezier...” Pharynx mumbled in his sleep. “Bezier... Bezi—”
He was cut off when he felt a hoof being placed on his forehead. The changeling opened his eyes to see a dark purple unicorn with a hot pink mane... and a broken horn.
Pharynx squinted in disbelief. “Tempest...? Why are you—”
“Shh.” She put a hoof to his lips. “They said you’re only gonna be in here for a few more days.”
“...Why are you here?” he asked.
“Why wouldn’t I be?” she answered.
“Why don’t you hate me?” Pharynx slowly sat up.
“You didn’t hate me all those times I keep telling you that I worked for the Storm King, didn’t you?”
“No, I didn’t... but—”
“There’s your answer then,” Tempest responded, rubbing the changeling’s head as she gave him a kiss on the cheek.
