Been a while, so it seems about time for another look into the ideas I came up with for a scrapped Stand ideas for a Jojo/EQG crossover. This time will end off with the last of the mane group Stands, meaning the rest after this will all be enemy Stands.

Stand Name: [MadKid]
Alternate Name: [Mad The Kidd]
Stand User: Applejack
Appearance: A mechanical western-themed Desparado looking figure with revolver barrels around its wrists.
Power: Gold Dust Control
Reference: JPop band Madkid

Stats
Destructive Power - A
Speed - B
Range - C
Durability - A
Precision - B
Potential - B

Notes

I’ll be honest, Applejack’s Stand was the hardest for me to come up with. I knew it was going to have a western theme and be a Close Range Stand like Sunset’s, but as to what its unique power would be I struggled to come up with something. After drawing a blank, I decided to just go to Superpower Wiki (which is exactly what it sounds like) and just hit “Random Page” until I got something that felt appropriate.

And thus, I settled on “Gold Dust Manipulation”. What this means is that [Madkid] can shoot bullets from its wrists that shatter into a cloud of gold dust upon impact that Applejack can manipulate directly to do such things as bind a foe, clog up engines, pick locks/open doors, ect. What this also means is that Applejack’s Stand is potentially just as versatile as Rarity’s [Diamond Eyes].

Stand Name: [Nightwish]
Alternate Name: [Night Dreams]
Stand User: Twilight Sparkle
Appearance: A lighter-skinned, more “purified” version of Midnight Sparkle.
Power: Portal Control
Reference: The band Nightwish

Stats
Destructive Power - B
Speed - C
Range - B
Durability - B
Precision - A
Potential - B

Notes

Twilight was intended to be the last member of the group to awaken to her Stand, well after an event where she was targeted by an Enemy Stand and used primarily her wits to combat it and its user until her friends could arrive. Taking inspiration from Golden Wind’s Trish Una, when her Stand first awakens it appears to have its own personality like Trish’s [Spice Girl] while in fact being her inner confidence made manifest.

Much like Midnight Sparkle, [Nightwish] can create portals of various sizes that link two points, but Twilight has to be able to clearly visualize the location in mind, meaning she cannot create a portal to somewhere she’s never seen or been to before. Also, in my effort to prevent any accidental and very, very messy “telefraging” incidents, objects and people caught between two portals will not be severed if one portal closes, but rather launched out of the remaining portal with significant force undamaged.

Stand Name: [Walking on Sunshine]
Alternate Name: [Strolling Daybreak]
Stand User: Summer Solstice
Appearance: A pearl white humanoid figure wearing armor resembling solar panels
Power: Light Manipulation
Reference: Song Walking On Sunshine by Katrina and the Waves

Stats
Destructive Power - B
Speed - B
Range - B
Durability - C
Precision - A
Potential - C

Notes
Now, many of you probably have no idea who Summer Solstice is, and I don’t blame you. The long and short of is that in one of the EQG Shorts, there appeared an unnamed character who bore an uncannily striking resemblance to Principal Celestia, fueling fan theories such as the one I’m using here that she’s Celestia’s daughter.

Here she’s Principal Celestia’s estranged teenage daughter who, up until this point, has lived with Celestia’s ex-husband in another city following a rather messy divorce between her parents. Summer sided primarily with her father here, severely straining their relationship despite attempts from Celestia to mend it. Celestia isn’t even aware that Summer is in the city until several students start reporting having seen someone who looked like the principal in the area following attacks from an unknown Stand user. Celestia eventually confides in Sunset and the group that Summer is her daughter, and that she seemingly disappeared several weeks ago after her father was injured in an accident, and that she has no idea why Summer would even be in the city in the first place, making everyone wonder if Summer is the Stand User they’re after.

Eventually, it turns out that she’s not the Stand User causing all these incidents, but has been tracking the Stand User to Canterlot CIty for some time now after they caused the accident that put her father in the hospital, and assists the others in stopping him. During this, she does make an “attempt” to bridge the rift between her and her mother, but due to still primarily living out of town she would become an infrequent member of the group.

Twilight's Stand may deliberately avoid manslaughter, but stack enough portals and "significant force" becomes "all the force, even though force isn't an exhaustively quantifiable thing and Twilight knows that".

... Stand names are supposed to have some relation to their ability.

Some do, some don't. It's not exactly a hard and fast rule.

5397590
No, they all do. They relate directly to their abilities and the user. Even PtIII's Tarot and Egyptian God named Stands.

I know it isn't really what you're talking about but here's some of the more straightforward ways to use portals
Twilight can do the trick from Portal where you put something in free fall between two portals until it reaches maximum velocity effectively making a railgun but instead of magnets it's gravity.
And that's just the most obvious one.
She could also make a portal at bottom of the ocean and make a high powered hose.
I would love to hear your ideas as well.

The Tower would like a word with you. And the only connection Supafly had to what it did was as a reference to that. Any connection you try to pull out is going to be more circuitous than:

A) Clear reference to cowboys (mostly in the Dub alternate name, hilariously enough) does vaguely cowboy things
B) Portals as reference to G1 Twilight's teleport chant
C) The excerpt doesn't actually go into detail but you can read oh wait you've tried to argue with mods telling you that you're wrong and libelous. As part of a persecution complex borne from centuries of legitimate persecution (admittedly a reasonable way to develop a persecution complex). I'm going to pretend this was the one you were actually talking about to save myself some work for no particular reason because I've already done the work anyways.

On a more positive note, the general category of "portal leads somewhere extremely unsafe" is a fruitful one for portal-based murder.

Portals to space deals with ultimate lifeforms very effectively.
