The Lightwatcher · 3:34pm Oct 28th, 2020
I ran under a streetlight, looking around. That thing following me. It looked like a man, but he had these lines on his face, as if someone had slashed two lines on his face. He looked horrible. I looked around, breathing as I stood under the streetlight. Then, I noticed a figure a few lights down. They weren’t moving. I blinked.
Somehow, they’d moved to the next light. Then I blinked again. They moved to the next light. I should’ve run. But I blinked until it got to my light. It was the creature. His twisted smile sent fear shooting through my body.
“That was a fun game,” it’s all too human voice said. His smile widened, almost past the point of his facial muscles. Then, his face opened in four quadrants, each flap filled with sharp teeth. Hell, his mouth was a black hole of teeth too. I screamed and ran out of the range of the light. I was in the dark again. The creatures face sealed up, his smile still there, before I blinked and he moved to another light.
I think I might drive from work for now on...

What’s wrong
I was expecting Trevor Henderson’s “Headlight/Light Head” not gonna lie.

Perhaps they work in unison? Like, Light Head finds victims and the Lightwatcher kills them and Light Head finishes the leftovers.

Neat.
