A while back, as I was reading a fellow readers, and author of some completely random stories (you know who you are, now get back to that story!!!
) blog post reference MLP merchandise, specifically T-shirts. He was residing in a restaurant with a few of his fellows, sporting a "pimped out Rainbow Dash" T-shirt, when a young girl happened to notice it upon him, and excitedly informed her mother. His fellows then berated him for a while. And then some.
Now when I saw this, I was a little vexed. Being a resident of the UK, where MLP is still largely unknown (the time will soon be right to expand the herd, my friends!!!), it is almost impossible to get said merchandise from domestic retailers, and I was rather peeved at the extortionate amount of import tax for a few T-shirts!!! Well, due to a rather fortunate night a local gambling establishment (I went in with £50, came out with around £800), I decided I would purchase some of the said products. I'm sure all of you reading this, or maybe most of you, heard of We Love Fine. Well, it is through them that I purchase 4 T-shirts at a cost of around $200 (About £125). I had to wait a while for them to arrive, but I have returned to my place of work, which is also where I live when not on leave. Yes, that's right, I'm military. No, it's not the Army. It's the RAF. And no, I'm not a pilot.
TL;DR version: I got pissed off I couldn't get MLP T-shirts over here, won some money brought some. Now they are here.
So with out further adieu, I give you my new purchases!!!
