Hello, guys. Surprised to see me again, huh? Yeah, I didn’t think I would come back at first either. However, I would like to make some clarification as to why I left in the first place so hear me out.
First of all, ever since I was reviewing the season 9 episodes of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic in the past few months, I had developed major negative thoughts of the show that nearly affected my health. Because I was so angry at what the writers had done to the series with seasons 8 and 9 (especially the Grogar twist), it made me so hateful towards the franchise. Then something else came along the way...
During the first week of September, I suffered an excruciating painful stomach virus that forced me to take a break from FIMfiction. That was the sickness I was talking about in my “Status” blog. Both my negative thoughts on the series and my major stomach virus sickness were primary catalysts in my departure from this website. It’s been only a month since I left, and I already missed a lot of you guys.
Now that I took a full month of reflection and semi-recovery (the stomach virus went away after about two weeks), I can honestly say that I am more than willing to get back in business and reunite with you all. I miss writing stories since it is one of my favorite hobbies, and I miss talking to you guys. However, there will be a couple of minor adjustments. I still don’t like the MLP: FIM series anymore, BUT I can still incorporate ideas, concepts, and characters from the show that I am still somewhat fond of. Lastly, I will be writing only crossover stories going forward. I hope you guys can understand me. Thus, I will not continue in my MLP reviews since it will be a waste of my time until Generation 5 is released.
