    random stuff...

Hey everycreature! Today I give a small update before I move on to something new (just below) with a lengthy review/critique of a MLP rpg. Chapter 2 of Whoops! is about 1/2 done (3/4? 2/3?) and an unedited, unproof read version of it can be found; password is "Go Fish" if you are impatient.

    cleaning my bookcase

Some of you might have noticed that I, just now, have deleted both my stories. I can also say that I found it downright insulting to see my stories on groups when no one asked for my permission.

There is so much more I could say but I'm seeing nothing but red right now...

    A Thought Exercise

Link is at the bottom but let's do a short recap; Spring Breakdown that shows another portal to Equestria. The author thinks that new stories now have an advantage by not being on a time constraint. The author also thinks this allows Twilight to spread friendship and fix the school in a more organic way (true) and allowing Sunset's redemption to be more organic while dealing with the Dazzlings

    World Building part 3, inspiration

Real life happened... and is still happening.

    oh well

So I was on the group about changelings and Chrysalis and I was struck with inspiration on how to set my world up. The things I want is ponyfinder changelings to be mlpfim changelings and a reason for the ponies to be where they are and in the reduced numbers I envision. I feel I have just what I need...

Real life is kicking my ass. I need to do something as i feel i am doing nothing. So i am going to start spending my lunch breaks writing instead of reading. Or so that is the plan. Plans never survive contact with the enemy. Still there is a plan and by "voicing" it to you i might still pull through. that is what they say though, that by voice seen something particularly in New year's revolution that you would actually go through with it and I'm also doing this on the microphone so this might come out a little odd. even requires to change a keyboards because the Mobile Samsung keyboard does not contain a microphone.

So what I plan to do is is to build up voices of the void from the ground up. Previously all I had done was just mash a whole bunch of things together and see how it worked out. It didn't work out. So this time I'm going to be spending like 10 to 20,000 words just trying to get the setting to actually look coherent so I can make a coherent story without anyone questioning how anything works. let's see you also probably have seen some of my other blog posts where I've done something similar so this isn't quite unusual for me. Though I believe the story will not have a whole lot of world building in the actual story. instead what I'm going to do is probably have the characters all kind of know how their world works, which they should, and then go from there and just have the story. anyone who follows the blog will obviously have the underpinnings of how some of the things in the world works.

So that's where my creative juices are presently going to be going towards. I don't know when I'm going to get the revised version out but I am hoping sometime in this month. I've only got about 15 to 20 minutes after eating to actually speak the book. Which isn't a whole lot of time to do a whole lot of writing the last time I'm actually narrating it to myself so it'll actually be a whole lot quicker cuz I can't talk as fast as I typed. I mean, I mean reversed. I suppose it goes either way but the talking is a whole lot faster than the typing even on a touch screen.

Stay safe and healthy out there...
