Zenex looked around. His armor and weapons lay a few feet away from him. He sighed and walked over to them, equipping them. The Zenslayer has returned.

“Slayer. You have returned.”

“Where the hell are you?! Show yourself!”

“Fine. Walk over to the goblet.”

Zen looked around before sighting said goblet. He reluctantly trotted over, soon spotting a box as well. “What’s in the box?”

“Open it.”

Zenex opened it, finding a few viles. “What the hell?”

“Open the viles, then put them into the goblet.”

Zenex blinked. “Hold on, at least explain what these things are.”

“Ugh... if I must. First...”

Zenex picked up the first vile and opened it, pouring the contents into his hoof.

“The tuft of a loved one.”

Flutters’ mane... he thought, examining it. He then opened the second one, pouring its contents out.

“A small bit of fur from a close friend.“

Melody’s coat... He then reaches for the third one, which was a clear liquid.

“The tears of a crush and now good friend.”

'Celly’s tears... he reluctantly reached for the final vile.

“And finally, the—”

“The blood of a brother...” Zenex grabbed it and opened it.

“Good, you’re learning. Now, pour the contents into the goblet.”

Zenex sighed and did so, pouring the ingredients into the goblet.

“Good job, Slayer. Now, drink.”

Zenex’s eyes widened. “Hold up, no way! This has mane, coat, tears, and blood? Why the hell would I drink this?!”

“Not like you have a choice, now do you?”

Zenex groaned and drank from the goblet. He gagged and coughed upon finishing it. “Oh gosh, that tastes terrible...”

“Well, you drank your friends, so what did you expect?”

“Fuck you... What next?” Zenex began rubbing his eyes.

“Well now, I can become a part of you.”

“W-What?!” Zenex looked at his hooves, which were stained with green and blue.

The same colors as his eyes.

Zenex groaned before stumbling over to a crystal. In his reflection, he saw that his green and blue eyes were replaced with pure black ones. He groaned and fell to ground, before passing out.
