So, I’m sure you all remember the map of my AU Equestria (If you don’t remember, it’s these two:)

So, I’m gonna explain a quick bit of lore. Remember, I’ve worked on this for a while, so there’s probably more that I’ve missed.

Okay, so, Equestria was founded by the Wolfpack, who’s original leader, King Lucky Leaf, decided to send a good amount of settlers to the land. Soon, three new factions arose. The Equestrian Republic, the Lunar Union, and Warsaw. There were three other factions, the Dragon Lands, the Honored Lands, and the Griffon Empire. There is also the Starlight Region, aka the Fields of Tempest. In the center of the island stands a mountain named Celestial Heights.

As the six factions grew, the DL, GE, and HL were unaware that the Wolfpack has set up settlements on the other side of the island, until the Honored sent a search party into the lands, stumbled upon the Union and the two got into a brief scuffle. The Honored beat the LU troops, but spared them, giving them silent respect. Queen Luna was very much shocked by the actions of the Honored and soon the six set up trade and formed the Provalance (Prov-a-lance) sometimes called the Prov.

However, the Wolfpack, now under the rule of King Charcoal, didn’t like the new trade and alliance and set over 100,000 soldiers to secure the Prov, starting the Provalance Revolution. The factions, armed only with muskets, bayonets, swords, and revolvers fought back against the Pack’s advanced weapons, wining the war.

Back at the WP, their leaders started getting more and more corrupt. Daily executions, deportation, and other harsh punishments we’re dished out onto those who supported the Provalance’s right for independence.

However, that was the war for now. Fast forward a few years, passing a western time period and a few micro wars between the factions, and we began the Great Provalance War (Set in a WW1 setting). The Wolfpack tries to take the island again, however the factions, now armed with better rifles, pistols, cannons, and even machine guns win yet again, other factions like the zebras and changelings entering the war. The changelings and Wolfpack lose. The changelings pay up war reparations whilst the Wolfpack attacks the changelings for paying up said war reparations. The changelings, with assistance from the sisters, kicks both the Pack out. Chrysalis and sisters form a mutual respect and trade for a bit, before their relationship falls down.

Soon, fast forward to the year 2038 (a WW2 style era) and it’s more of a present day Equestria. The changelings kick Chrysalis out and the brothers take rule, and the Mane Six are national heroes. This new Equestria takes place around S7-S8. Surprise, surprise, the WP launches an attack on Warsaw. Despite their semi-auto rifles facing the Pack’s bolt rifles, the Pack’s numbers and tactics kick Warsaw’s rear, and the Primeval War begins.

So, that’s the lore of the Provalance. Again, there is a lotta lore I’ve put into this. It was originally my friend’s project for a Pokémon fanfiction series, but he canceled it and gave me the ideas he already had. What do you think of this?
