The Saddest News I heard in my Life · 5:14pm Sep 4th, 2020
Remember the news about Hurricane Laura? Well, I had just been told by my mom that it had struck Louisiana. And that my dad and stepmother’s house there had been destroyed, my stepmother and my two baby brothers miraculously escaped unscathed, but my dad wasn’t lucky. He’s now in the hospital, hooked on life-support machines and is stated to be in a coma, and he’s tested positive for COVID-19.
I was so distraught by this information that I immediately left the house and went on a long walk until i came home for dinner.
I’m completely broken on the inside right now. Worried and hoping that my dad would recover or gain enough strength to pull through.
