Just a quick update, I’ve updated Dreamers and hopefully made it easier to pick up, and a little more engaging. There were a lot of things I was unhappy with with the original first chapter and I’ve wound up splitting that up further, so now there’s a separate prologue that better establishes what’s going on and serves as a better lead in to the dream stuff. I also cut part of the beginning that touched on and explained something that didn’t serve much in the way of pushing the story forward.
I’ve been going through some personal loss lately and it’s been hard to get back into the creative spirit. I was originally going to just shelve all my stories indefinitely, but writing stuff for Dreamers has really cheered me up a bit, and I really hope people enjoy it. Out of the two passion projects I have, this story is really my baby and I’ve definitely gotten more attached to it than I have with Stardust. As always, I’m really looking for comments and feedback with it, and even just hearing that someone enjoyed it means a lot to me. I know I’m improving, but I still don’t feel like I really have an audience, and I just really wish I could get more comments back on my work, if anything just to know that people still enjoy it.
Im not going to wind up abandoning my active projects, I just don’t know when they’ll all be updated, and right now I might just wind up focusing on this story more than others.
