Weekly Update 8/25 · 6:49pm Aug 25th, 2020
I figured this is the easiest way to pass information out to you guys. I'll post at least one update a week, when I would normally have posted a chapter, so every Tuesday for now.
Sadly, this one is going to be a lot shorter, mostly because i haven't really done much of anything. The ideas are percolating, and I've got a few ideas, but haven't actually sat down to put anything down yet. I've been busy not slaving over a hot document, watching GDQ, and haven't really done a whole lot that can be actually read. And the next few weeks are going to be busy, as quick and I are preparing to move, and I'll be visiting home right after. I'm not saying no writing is going to get done until all that is settled, but I make no promises.
So what I'll be doing here, today and maybe more weeks beside, is outlining the plan. As stated in past blogs, my next major project is going to be the sequel to In Search of Knowledge, working title of To Dream is Divine. It's something I've wanted to write for awhile, and promised someone to do several years ago. It will, of course, feature the continuation of Twilight and Cheerilee's relationship.
Or will it?
In these early stages of planning, a lot can happen. We're tossing a lot of ideas around here, trying to see what's going to stick. The Scrivner doc is a veritable collage of thoughts, partially-written scenes, and tossed endings / beginnings / middle bits / happy bits / sad bits / possible Alicorn ascensions. It's great stuff.
I'll let you know more next week, probably. Lamp.
Certainly getting me excited for everything to come in the future. Though (and I say this to everyone) don't worry about it taking too long or anything like that. If it becomes stressful to write, then just don't, I know I'd rather have a happy author than something to read.
Kind words and encouraging smiles

See, writing and DMing are both stressful to me, for almost the same reasons. But I love doing both to death, and my overall mental state has improved since I started writing again. I don't think it'll be an issue of taking it too long to get done, because I want to share, but I appreciate the sentiment.
