Dingy Dong - I need an editor. · 6:04pm Aug 25th, 2020
Hiya hi,
So, I'm slow... and kinda suck. But that's irrelevant. I need an editor for the one story I was working on last month. It's nearly finished, but it definitely needs some polish before it gets published. I kinda did... nothing this month. Which includes no writing. I need to change that.
Anyway, the story is currently 32 chapters long (at 10,430 words total), and is just needing it's final concluding chapters... which would be about 5k total? Who knows...
The current story is Lost and this is the current synopsis: "It has been almost a year since Sunset and her friends last saved the world. While they all have graduated from Canterlot High and moved onto their brighter futures, Sunset finds herself stuck in Canterlot unsure of what to do with her life. After a surprise visit from Twilight, the former unicorn finds herself lost in an underground dwelling.
It is up to her to find her way home. But, where is home, and does she even want to go back? Will she ever see her friends' smiles again, or will she lose herself, and her life, inside the caverns."
I need to mix it up a little bit more, as it is slightly different from that. But, it still holds true. I've had two people read a decent chunk of it and they've both really liked it and thought it was interesting and well done- despite the errors.
It's really not a style I usually write in either... so it was nice to see it well received despite the many (I believe) flaws.
Nevertheless, if you're interested in editing it before I release it, let me know! I can always just try to do it myself - I feel pretty distanced from it, so I think I'd pick up on a lot more stuff - but I'd like to see if someone else would be interested in doing it as well.

On a somewhat unrelated note, I really wish my mind could stop coming up with so many ideas... I have a pre-reformation Magical Girl Sunset story idea worked out "Magical Girl Sunse-- Oh, shit!", a ship fic where Sunset and Rainbow both become divine beings and decide to travel the world during summer vacation to explore their new domain "A Dashingly Sunny Journey", another ship fic between Wallflower and Sunset, where Wallflower discovers that Sunset might be an alien, and nervously confronts her during school (pre EqG) and completely screws it up "Yelling Whispered Secrets", and lastly a fic where Sci-Twi convinces Sunset to go out on a date, at a con, dressed as characters from a series Twilight is obsessed with where they meet a guy... and find themselves displaced in Equestria right as the Crystal Empire returns, "A Displaced Sunset" (yes, I created an entire plot where Sunset and Twilight join the 'displaced' cliche).
And I have countless others sketched out too...
I guess, I just wish I was addicted to writing as I was with coming up with ideas, or Fate Go... or maybe Apex too.
Also! I occasionally stream Apex off my PS4! Twitch Link Here, I don't usually talk, but if people want, I can talk while I play. I ain't all that great, especially with my internet being worse than normal... but someone might enjoy! I have, spectacularly, blown 5 games (finished second) just this past week alone in such a horrendously embarrassing manner... Rather quite depressing I think.
Anyway, I think that's all. I tried to write some Yu Yu stuff, it was a disaster... so I'll have to try again later.
