There are some strange things in the UTF Universe, so I will be clearing them up.
Q. When does this take place?
A. A year after the events of Twilight's coronation with becoming the new ruler of Equestria.
Q. Who is Carter and why should I care?
A. Carter is a fictional OC who is human. His purpose in the story is to be the main character who learns about friendship and the magic it holds through the help of the Mane 6. Carter had killed many people in his past due to some troublesome events, so he comes to hate himself and push away friendship. It isn't until a strange spirit come to him and warns him about a dark future approaching if he continues down this road. Soon after this, he is sent to Equestria as an alicorn and on a mission to relearn friendship once more.
Q. Who is Flint Masters?
A. Flint Masters is a fictional OC who serves as a side character. He mainly acts as the Leader of the Order of Harmony, a group dedicated to defending Equestria from harm. He is placed as the leader due to a bloody battle with an unnamed pony who killed his mate, Carrot Top. On his off time he works at his own pub, Stop n' Go!
Q. What is canon within this universe?
A. The show and the movie. Equestria Girls is not and the comics are not.
Q. How old are the main characters?
A. Carter, Rarity and Applejack are the oldest of the main characters at 22. Twilight and Fluttershy are 21, and Pinkie Pie along with Rainbow Dash are 20. Flint Masters is in his 40's while Spike is 13 and the CMC are 16. Celestia is 3,271 and Luna is 3,266. With the Young Six, Silverstream, Yona and Sandbar are 15 while Ocellus, Smolder and Gallus are 14.
Q. Is Twilight Sparkle immortal/have longer lifespan like Celestia and Luna?
A. No she doesn't. Neither does Princess Cadence. In this universe, Celestia and Luna are able to live longer only because of a special gene within their family heritage.
Q. Are any of the Mane 6 married?
A. Not as of now. What I will say, however, is that the only "famous" ship that I will put in this is Fluttercord, no Appledash. (sorry...
)
Q. Why is UTF rated M?
A. Mainly due to intense violence in some chapters. I don't dabble around with sex and stuff like that in these stories so besides the gore these are pretty clean.
Q. Why is it called UTF instead of TUF (The Ultimate Friendship)?
A. It was actually supposed to be called The Ultimate Test of Friendship, but an error in the cover art made things change. It is still called UTF nonetheless. (The UlTimate Friendship.
Q. What is the point of this fic series?
A. Partly to continue the series in a different direction but also just to entertain. Nothing big or special.
Q. Is there clop in any of this.
A. Wrong place to be for that.

The answer for the first question should be clarified more MCX. Which coronation? As the Princess of Friendship or after Celestia and Luna retire? I get that you answer the question if it being before the whole 20 years later thing in a following answer, unintentionally. I'm just trying to think of it how it might appear from the POV of someone who hasn't read the story yet.
