FOUR MONTHS!!! · 3:51pm Aug 24th, 2020
Four months. Four months have come and gone since I officially joined the forum. Four months have seen (arguably) the worst of times for us humans, as we are still fighting an unstoppable pandemic. There's a lot I could say about how thankful I am for all of those who've been there, reading, writing, or chatting with me, but I guess that's why I spent the last ten days stressing about making this day amazing not only for me, but for all of my readers and followers.
First off, though, analyzation. In four months, I've written just shy of 95,000 words, by forum standards. I have three unfinished stories and a fourth one-shot, I've read through dozens of stories, and still have quite a few more to read, and my main story, the first one I've ever publicly released, now has almost 1,300 initial views. That is beyond wild for me. I mean, I've achieved something that many stories take years to receive, and this one isn't even one of the greatest out there. But, as I said in another blog post, I haven't come this far to only come this far.
Secondly, there is the matter of telling you what I've been doing for the past ten days in prep for this day. Some of you who have collaborations or me editing may know, but for the past week and a half, I've been working to complete a four piece project.
Part one of the project: Two chapters of Equestria's Ray of Hope, something that I haven't done since first release four months ago. These chapters more or less will reawaken your anger, or for some of you, ease it a little, but there's a reason I released these two at once, more than just as a celebratory reward.
Part two of the project: A new chapter for Blood Moon. This one is short and fast, but it is important to read. For those of you reading it, I encourage you to reread it. There are many things hidden in there.
Part three of the project: A NEW STORY!!! The Blue Knight's prologue is out now. This is a story I've had in my head longer than Blood Moon, from way back in December of 2019, and now it' finally coming into play. Follow the trials and adventures of the Hero of Canterlot, as well as the rise of power in a new and deadly villain.
And the final piece of the project? You all. Every single one of you who are following me are about to be followed by me (be scared)!
There are also some updates to some of my stories, as well as a fancy new story box that contains the Heroes of Equestria stories. These stories are The Blue Knight, Blood Moon, an Equestria's Ray of Hope. All sharing the same timeline, these stories are all vital to read to understand the others. For those of you just reading any of these stories, you don't have to read through all of those stories, just realize that some seeming plot hole are covered up with other stories.
Once again, thank you for four amazing months on the forum, and remember to continue to spread the Magic of Friendship as you go throughout your day and as you explore the forum!
Congrats! That indeed is more than most had achieved in such a short time. Always nice to see people succeed like that (well... almost always, but that's another topic), because it shows that it's really possible, and things like that do happen after all.
Again, congrats!
I don't understand why you keep saying "forum" when this is your own blog post, but congratulations are indeed in order. It sounds to me like you got something really good and it's well-received. It also sounds like you have a large multi-part project to juggle which kind of makes me think of some of my own stories and how they are connected.
Btw, I'm working on a new story, too, but I think I might delay this one until the entire thing is written up offline. If I finish, I strongly suspect it will be one of my longer stories, but that will probably take me only three months or so. I write pretty fast. Usually enough to amaze others.
The mention of the collab is also interesting to me because that means you have additional support. I'm happy to hear about that, too. I just hope that your partners, at least, have some plot armor, even if your characters don't.

O no, I'm collabing on stories not my own. I have free time, sometimes, and that I use to help others. Also, I call FimFiction "the forum", because It's just easier to type. Also, what do you mean by "I hope that your partners, at least, have some plot armor, even if your characters don't."

Thanks for the support, my friend!

Just a little joke. By partners, I meant those you are collabing with. If they have plot armor, they will be wiill. Challenged perhaps, but ultimately well.

Aye,
