Chapter 10 is up and Wind Raider's artwork is posted at long last!

Hello again, Everypony! I've got the next part of the story posted and I'm pleased how it's going and for all those in the fandom who have left comments about it. The story has really expanded in that all those background pony characters suddenly had to be moved up to secondary and tertiary status. I was hoping to avoid some of that but it didn't quite work that way. Having to come up with all these recruit characters names, trying to come up with personalities for each and how they interacted with the BFF's has been daunting but rewarding.
The story has evolved some since its inception and the characters certainly have gotten more 'filled out' and more whole, rather then just a name and a picture. Speaking of pictures, Kitty Sapphire 8989 had completed the first concept art piece of Wind Raider for me and I was floored how he came out.
Coming up with my lead antagonist's looks was not easy. I knew wheat his mane and tail colors were and I knew he'd have them cropped but his look was still a mystery for me for much of the first chapters. Kitty sat with me and we poured over pictures various real life horses to find something we liked. She had originally made him a pure white color with his black mane and tail but I wasn't 'feeling it' for his appearance. She redid his look more to the picture's appearance and I was thrilled with how he appeared in the end.
There is at least one if not two more chapters coming after this; my editor is hard at work trying to make it into manageable parts. This chapter also got to be rather long, finding a spot in which to separate it into a chapter has proved difficult. I didn't necessarily write it as a 'chapter by chapter' format. I just started writing and figured I could break it apart wherever necessary. Not so true in practice, I have learned. I didn't set out to make this chapter so long but it ended up this way. Hopefully then next ones will be shorter and not such a chore to read through.
