A bit behind schedule · 9:44pm Aug 21st, 2020
Hi there, readers!
Normally I would be publishing the next chapter of Renewal right about this time, however I've fallen behind due to some complications in the real world. It turns out part of owning a home requires some maintenance from time to time and this month brought a couple projects I couldn't put off. My back yard essentially died due to a combination of this summer's drought up in Wisconsin as well as me possibly fertilizing it until everything just gave up and turned to crispy hay. Tilling, leveling, seeding and covering 2000sq/ft (urgh) ate up my last weekend off and two solid writing days. This weekend looks like it'll be booked up with me trying to seal my basement wall to keep a nest of ground wasps from getting in any more than they have been.
The next chapter is about 50% written and I expect to hopefully have it wrapped up in the next couple weeks. Sorry again for the delay, I really wanted to bully through all this life stuff and get it done but... yaknow. Wasps.
Take care and have a great weekend!

It's okay! Life comes first, so take care of yourself! By the way, I pinged you with something on Imgur. I don't know if it'll be your thing, but I figured I'd give it a shot anyways. Sorry if it's something you don't like!

Haha yeah, I have a feeling ignoring a wasp infestation would be counterproductive in the long run. ;p Send me what you sent a second time, I think it might've been buried in the other PMs ^^
Thanks for the update, and no worries; "wasps" is indeed not a bad reason for a delay. :D
Good luck with that and the other work/chores (if there are any more still left)! And a good weekend to you too! :)
take your time, stay safe, and hydrated! wasp are no fun to deal with D:

Thankfully I think I took care of the wasps (DeltaDust and lots of caulking)! Little bastards got me a good half dozen times but I got them harder. :)
