An Interesting Title (Updates on all of my stories) · 4:11pm Aug 18th, 2020
I had a long, drawn-out blog post detailing why I came back, but it sounded far to preachy and bloated so I didn't post it. The tl;dr of it was "I'm back" anyways, so why not just post that.
Those of you who follow The Student and the Princess know this already, as I have posted a couple updates to it recently. I have more on the way. I plan on focusing my writing time on that story, to get it wrapped up soon....ish. There is a delay right now because I went a week without power, and then I came back to two wonderful DMs about how my stories were bad and I should feel bad. Needless to say, it wasn't the warmest welcome back I've ever received.
As for the rest of my stories... well, I suppose it is time to give you all a long-overdue update. Some of them, as you have noticed, have been set to hiatus. These are stories that my original plans for fell through, or evolved beyond anything that made coherent sense. I have no plans for them (aside from one, but that's still being worked out.) I don't want to list them as cancelled, as I'd like to eventually go back and work on them, but that is a plan for future Mod. Far future Mod. Those waiting on these stories should not hold their breath.
Equine Fall is also on an unofficial Hiatus. I read it over recently, and realized that it being my longest-running story has almost as many disadvantages as it does advantages. Yes, it is clearly the most thought out and executed, but the beginning chapters also highlight a major problem of poor writing. You can clearly see the vast improvement of my writing as you read the story, which is impressive, but unfortunately, ruins the beginning of the story in my opinion. I am considering re-writing the beginning, but this is a long way out.
And now some other updates relating to unposted content: Quite frankly... I have a lot. Two of them have neared some sort of completion over the several years I have worked on them behind the scenes. I will possibly be posting them soon. The others... well they will probably never be finished or see the light of day. But they're there, and I'll be posting some in the future.
Unfortunately, in the long run, most of my summer was eaten up by the myriad of politics that attacked this site, and my refusal to attach my name to anything related to it. I lost a good chunk of time that I had to write, and I am slightly disappointed at the loss. But, there is nothing I can do about it but move forward. I will be heading back into the real world soon, following almost 6 months of quarantine, and with that, my free time also heads out. But I enjoy writing and will continue to do so in my free time.
Until next time,

Oh, I literally gave them no regard. I do not have time to argue whether my stories are subjectively good or not with random people.
One was an exhaustive list picking apart nearly every sentence in one of my stories, and then failing to comprehend even the most basic of plot points (including adding ones that weren't in the story), and then having the audacity to tell me that my "incomplete" story felt incomplete.
The second was another exhaustive list, this time of typos followed by "your story is bad, and you should feel bad," and also included irrelevant evidence that was not present.

Yikes, good on you for not entertaining the trolls then.
