Yay I did it before the year's end! Woo hoo! Go me! This was a wild ride (not really)! I'd love to hear everyone's thoughts about the story in the comments here, your takeaways and I'll also answer and lingering questions you have!
But yeah, it is done. This is the first long-from story I've seen through to the end on Fimfic. It's kinda nice not having to stress about when I'm posting the next chapter. The key to success with this story I think was that I had it almost entirely planned out from the beginning. And I mean thoroughly, not just the standard bullet-point outline I do for most of my stories. I think I'll need to switch over to that for the rest of them.
Actually... speaking about my next story, I wanted to talk about that. I have several stories in development, and most of them are not MLP-related. I will post a blog post here to tell you whenever I post a new story on AO3, but if you want to check it out before then, or maybe subscribe over there, my account can be found here. I have an ATLA story in the works, and Elsanna modern AU, and a Catradora fic that are all in various stages of planning/completion. In terms of MLP-related stories, I have a story focusing on Tempest Shadow. I do not know which I will be working on first.

Was a good story. Would have been nice to see what (if any) effect Sunsets presence would have on the main plot, but the story had a good ending anyways.

I had actually considering sort of going on into that, but I ultimately decided early on that I would be ending the story where it was. The longer that story got, the more it would have shifted away from the overall theme I wanted to portray.
