Just finished most of the re-write for Inappropriate. It's been a arduous process, but it's going to be more then worth it when you guys see it. Also, I'll be giving a detailed explanation as to why I had to do this. But until then, here's a little taste of what I've been working on:
"...how dare you! You... you... you bi-"
A brilliant flash of white overpowered Luna's enraged rant. The force that followed violently twisted Celestia's face into a sidelong glance. When she looked back up, Luna stared back at her with an antipode of emotions. She could see the inner struggle between resentment and remorse, fighting in the mind of her little sister, trying to establish dominance. Luna's outstretched hoof was covered with something red that ran down from the tip of her platinum encrusted shoe. Still in shock, Celestia averted her gaze and focused on the crimson stain laid across the opposing shower wall, slithering down smoked glass. It became clear to Celestia that she pushed her younger sister on the brink and drove the young monarch to violence in an attempt stave off the flow of venomous taunts. The sun princess stood there, a scar swathed across her once fair and stoic face, a reminder that even Princess Luna had limits. Limits she would gladly test when given another chance. The flow of scented mist stinging the rapidly healing wound was a reminder that she was still alive.
"S-Sister! I'm so sorry!" Luna cried out. The scarred alicorn did not respond but instead stared vacantly as if the smack drained the last bit of her sanity. Eyes brimming with tears, Luna reached out to stroke her despondent sister's cheek.
"Luna..."
Startled at the sound of Celestia's voice, Luna jerked back in reflex. Her eyes widened in horror at her sister's mannerisms. She didn't seem the slightest bit angry, in fact Celestia was smiling. A wild grin that stretched across her now bloodstained lips.
"Tia? Art thou-"
"Tell me Luna..." Celestia interrupted, head cocked to the side, hair flowing wildly. "...how did it feel?"
Luna took a fearful step back, expecting any form of retaliation from the sun princess. Celestia's smile grew even wider at the sight of the night alicorn's anxiousness.
"How did it feel to be so overwhelmed by emotion, Luna. So much that it drove you to striking your own sister?" Celestia asked again in a tone devoid of emotion.
Luna backed away further raising a hoof to cover her mouth. She stopped herself, and looked down at the bloody stain sinking into the metallic shoe's runes. Luna knew that no matter how much she washed it, it would never truly be clean.
"Because, for the last thousand years, I haven't felt anything..."
