Quick Status Update · 9:27pm Jul 31st, 2020
Hello all! Just a quick update. What with this virus and all, you would think I'd have time to write more, do more, etc... Well, that's not the case. I'm flagged as an essential worker and have been run ragged at my job. Do I love it? Absolutely. But this has hampered my ability to write. You all know how it is, you have a bad/long day, you just wanna get home, sit down, have a nice long drink, and sleep the day away. Right? Right.
There's also the matter of keeping my train of thought in order. The current chapter (See, I've been doing something! Expect it next week!) I had to revise multiple times due to suddenly remembering things like characters haven't experienced this yet, or met this character yet. Trying to keep track of everything has been a struggle, and I regularly need to step back and re-read all my previous chapters.
There's also my own personal... Quirk that drives me to always critique everything I do. Does it mean I mostly end up with a better end result? Yes. Does it slow me down? Absolutely. But it's a part of who I am and something that I've accepted, for better and worse.
In the end, just letting those of you who have stuck around that I'm still alive, story is not dead, {Insert standard apology here}, and I will do my best to keep spitting out an enjoyable story for all. Till next time.
