Hello everyone,
I am a person who is known in different places as "AlekusuIega" (or with a dash or underscore between the names).
I want to properly introduce myself to this great community which I joined after the beginning of Season 3 aired. I have actually watched and read stories LONG before joining. I became a brony on May 10, 2012, and have read stories on this site since May 30th, 2012. I started reading right after I did a marathon of Seasons 1 and 2, which happened before I searched the internet for more info, pictures, and the works.
At first, I was a bit disgusted at most of the community here (cloppers for example *shudders*), but I later managed to find several stories and authors that managed to get me to stick around (Wild, Sweet, and Cool and MLD were only two of them...). I loved the styles that they were written in and decided that if I looked around well enough, then I might find more talented writers (you know what I am talking about 
).
More stories grew on me as I found them and I managed to get past the idea of this site being ridiculous. The image the community first gave me was one of bad OC alicorns with dark and troubled pasts that seduce the Mane Six just with their APPEARANCE and humans going to Equestria and b****ing about how "Earth is a horrible place filled with nightmares that I am SO GLAD to be have gotten out of by help of Twilights spell GOING WRONG" (seriously, that is now the LEAST ORIGINAL PLOT IN EXISTENCE). I now have the impression that many people want to have popularity in the community by telling their tale of how they would like to be in Equestria and hook up with their fav pony while repelling evil like it's nothing, BUT the creative writers are a hidden treasure within the junkyard of unoriginality.
While I have very little creative writing experience, I might someday wish to take my hand at writing (I already have a basic "plot" of what I want). Even if I would get very few views, I would only want the experience of good criticism and explanations to further inspire me while I have free time (freaking school...).
