He attacks My Little Pony because supposedly he hates fiction with positive messages when real life sucks.

Does he seriously believe that because we like My Little Pony that we don't know that? I've known the world sucks for years, that's not gonna stop me from liking the show.

That and I like fiction more than real life anyway so it's a moot point.

He also claims he's using his stories to teach lessons but when people point out the flaws in his stories he claims "It's my story and I can write however I want!"

Problem is that if your so-called lessons aren't realistic, why should anyone listen to them? Especially if you use such an immature, but technically true, excuse? Now this would be the part where he argues that a lot of My Little Pony episodes aren't very realistic either. I think he's trying to hint that we're all sheep who blindly follow our favorite show without questioning it. With the exception of authors who have write Bash fics.

Just because I like something doesn't mean I don't question it. Many times I'll watch a show, read a book, or play a game and think to myself how some parts could've been improved. I've thought up different ways certain episodes could've been handled better. Course it helps that I'm not limited by time constraints or trying to keep it simple for a child audience.

He tries to say "I just have a different opinion".

See and I'll go ahead and say this is what I personally believe. Just because you have a different opinion doesn't mean you can't be civil or respectful about. Sadly nowadays people don't care about being polite or respectful. So many have decided to be rude as fuck and play the different opinion card when people call them out on it. I've seen Users do it on this very site.

Course in the past I was guilty of it myself and all it did was make me look silly to other Users.

Now with the topic of our discussion. He'll say he doesn't have to be civil, he doesn't have to polite.

So...why do we have to just sit there and let you attack the MLP fandom?

Now he has argued in the past that he's only attacking fictional characters so people have no right to attack him in turn. Yet at the same he has admitted doing stuff to piss off the fans. He's attacking the fans through the characters.

"Look! I'm bashing this show and you can't do anything about it! Na-na na-na na-na!"

Okay not that childish but that's the basic idea.

He even called one person on this site a cunt. I don't even know if he was reported for that or not. I feel calling someone a severe word like that warrants looking into.

Although...has someone seriously been comparing him to people like Hitler and Stalin? I'll admit that's over the top and would help people side with him. I mean if you gave him a different title and had it clearly referring fiction it wouldn't be so bad. I mean George R.R. Martin, I do like his A Song of Ice and Fire books, is called "Fiction's Most Notorious Serial Killer". Maybe give our fellow a title like that.

For the record though; don't just call him the "Hitler/Stalin of Fiction". Put some creativity in it.

Anyway, at the end of the day he's attacking the fandom and the fans but trying to make it look like he's more harmless than he is. Not to mention make everyone else look like the bully.

He's just like those SJWs and NPCs. He doesn't care about this alleged crusade against MLP and it's "misleading messages". He just cares about having the power to attack the show and nobody being able to stop him.

I'm worried one of these days people like him are seriously gonna cause us to lose our internet freedom due to so much antagonism. If that does happen they'll have no one to blame but themselves. Though they'll try to blame everyone else for not respecting their disrespectful behavior.

Speaking of his hypocrisy... from a meta prospective his idea that Beast Boy has to suffer for not getting together with Terra is pretty hypocritical when you remember his treatment towards Cadence is born from the fact that characters like Beast Boy and/or Davis didn't get the girl. So he believes she has to suffer for them because they are still "lost to the darkness" while she has a happy ending...

...ignoring the fact that he's the one who keeps making up the punishment of them getting "lost to the darkness" in the first place.

Mykan's attitude towards Beast Boy not getting Terra:

Would you hold it against Beast Boy if he didn't want to let a person like that back into his life?

Of course I would. Why do you think I make BB suffer miserably for losing her, or having him killed in the end.

Mykan: "Are you certain it is Beast Boy you carry?"

Davis: "Yes sir... he has failed you. Do you wish him punished?"

Mykan: "Possibly..."

Davis: "Done!"

Mykan: "Yes...! throw him into the abyss. Show him the dark has... teeth!"

Mykan's attitude towards Cadence being happy:

I can't stand it! I hated the happy ending and how Cadance and Shining Armor were happily married, and Cadance's love helped do it.

Seeing how lovingly, and how happy ever after Cadance gets it really intensified my Things Change hurt, and all the other failed couples I supported. I know she's NOT to blame for their crashes, but I still don't think it fair she gets it so easy and all the others are still lost in the darkness and can never hope to be as happy as she is.

That's why I decided Cadance needs to be punished, needs to be hurt, needs to get a dose of reality!

In other words, he's punishing her for another character "suffering"... even though he himself is directly responsible for setting up the "rule" that they have to suffer if they don't get the girl.... see the problem here?

It reminds me of these trolls year ago who were flamming Ben 10 crossover fics because the authors didn't believe Ben was invincible. No matter how many times things were explained to them, the flamers accused the authors of being anime fans (most of the crossovers were with anime series), Ben 10 haters, and even racists (The flamers were from Indonesia but nobody ever brought it up except themselves). In the end it was most likely because their own Ben 10 stories weren't getting as much attention so they wanted make everyone else quit or make readers think the other stories were so bad; that way the flamers' own stories would be read more.

Mykan, eh might as use part of his name, on the other hand just wants to see the world of My Little Pony burn and rub it in fans' faces. I bet his "reasons" only exist as bait. He wants someone to try and correct him on his stories so he can redirect the "argument" in circles about how he can do whatever he wants. Just like how those flamers wanted to flame Ben 10 stories.

I mean he claims to be mad that these different shows screwed characters over, yet he makes things even worse for them. Afterwards he wants to jump back and forth between saying that's life and he can write whatever he wants to. I'd say make up your mind but then he'd be like "Oh shut up, I don't have to."

All this contradictions don't just prove he's a hypocrite. He's also a fake. Course I've said before how this was just a persona he puts on, kinda like a Wrestling Heel or Roger from American Dad.

I have a question.

Does anyone read his stories anymore?

Are the downvotes by people who read the stories and sincerely didn't like them?

People who don't read them but know know the kind of content he writes?

People who see the major difference in downvotes and upvotes and decide "Oh this must be a bad story, I better downvote it too".

A mixture of reasons?

Also I'm honestly surprised nobody's shown up and basically told us to knock it off; talking about him.

Then again it's possible that the majority of the site just doesn't care about what's going on.

So either we're the ones making a big deal about this one guy on the site.

Or Mykan's the one making a big deal about one small group talking about him compared to the entirety of the internet.

If you talk to Mykan directly, he's to willing answer all your questions with civility and give you his side of the story. (Getting both sides of the story is important in any situation, especially this one)
