Apparently people is talking about censoring or removing stories depicting Nazis? I understand this has something to do with the nuke of Derpibooru and I've read some post of people saying that Free Speech is only on the US 1st amendment or how useless it is to debate other people and, personally, I disagree but, on this regard, I don't want to make a post about it yet.
I would first like to hear the opinion from you. What is your take on this and what do you understand from all of this?
I don't think I'll make a post regarding Nazi content (because, as much as I would like to) the Nazi won't listen (I've debated with Fascist and Neonazi and they only live in their own world) and I worry that making any kind of argument in favor of allowing said content (even if to show how bad it is) could get certain users to try and defame me. Considering I'm not popular on this site, I don't want to pull my luck.
What I could do is a response blog to the excuses or arguments that people does in favor of this private censorship (it is, but I'll go into it later) and the problems I find in said arguments because while I have zero desires to defend a Nazi, or Fascist, I do think the reasoning used to fight them is fundamentally flawed.
So, again, what is your take on this? I'm actually curious.
I'd rather ban the users who're fascists and nazis than ban the content especially if its satirical or a parody as it's not the content creator's fault they're used that way.
I would perfer if we had full freedom of speech on this, or any, platform (short of inciting violence, of course).
People need to confront opposing ideas. Not just for their own good, but for those who spout them. We'll never get rid of "bad" ideas by hiding them away, but we will by countering with good ideas.
Now, in the context of sites such as FimFiction, maybe what we do is as simple as a down vote. Something that simply says: "We don't approve of that type of content here."
One thing to also consider regarding FimFiction in particular, is it's a UK site on a UK server. It's, therefore, subject to and bound by UK laws.
The UK has a much different range of freedoms of speech than the US. What they have is "Freedom of Expression" and follows a very strict code of conduct.
All that is to say is that, even if we're a bit more liberal in our freedoms of speech, we must also be mindful of our host server(s).

To me I am so natural I am like both sides are an issue. But with me mostly I don't really see facest I see some people because this has happen. People saying they're nazi because they don't agree with me types. But yeah I am so in the center when I see stuff like this I just shake my head.
I am fairly right wing, not a fascist of course, but an American paleoconservative. And the only thing I can really say is that it really isn’t fair. Fimfiction has always been free reign. And if you can have fics about foal rape, gore, and mutilation, but automatically stop at “he was being too mean and he’s a Nazi!” then I really can’t say anything except for you most definitely have a double standard.

What's my take on this? I find it impossible to take this talk of a nazi problem seriously. Even if there is a real nazi problem in the fan community (and I seriously doubt that), it's nothing compared to the pedophile problem! One of the most popular groups on this site is the foalcon group, after all.
In other words: Why are those folks going nuts over nazis, when pedophilia/foalcon is far more common among MLP fans then nazism? This is like worrying about a hole in your umbrella, when there's a tornado outside your window.
Not good. If you ban one thing it leaves the door open for more. An ounce is given a pound is then demanded. If someone does not like what someone says or writes or draws, they can say as much, not demand it be taken away. If it is truly meant to attack people and be racist, then ratio the content and humiliate those who wrote it for being garbage
Context is key, people can draw Aryanne and it not be outright trying to attack people. half my family is Jewish, and I do not feel angered or frightened by a horse with a swastika on her ass. This does not instantly mean they will come for me
I am angered and frightened by those who shriek for censorship, as I know if they are given any ground, they will come for me.
