I'm actually writing! Granted, it isn't Spirit Detective, but progress is progress. If I can keep this pace, the new story will be fully finished with it's first draft by the end of... maybe next week? My goal is to try and do four or eight chapters every day I head into school.
While that may sound like a lot, it's really only about 2-4k words. Case and point, the story is currently 24 chapters long, and 7.5k in length. The final length, at this rate, will be about 20k in length with 50 chapters. There is a reason for the amount of chapters- which will make sense once people can start reading it.
I honestly have no idea how this story will come out. It could be really well liked, it could be really disliked, or it could just never get read. But those who've tried it seem to enjoy it and I definitely haven't found something similar to this. So, maybe it's uniqueness will help?
Once I finish writing this story, I'll work on finalizing the first chapter for the co-op story I'm working on, along with finishing finally I hope the first chapter of Spirit Detective and the sequel to this upcoming story.
While I don't know what the story I am working on actually is, yet... still... I do know what the sequel is going to be. The best part of the sequel is that it's completely different than it's prequel! It will also be an anthology of sorts. I have a lot planned with that, and I'm actually looking forward to it.
In terms of Spirit Detective, like I said, I hope to finish that chapter shortly after I push this story out. I deeply apologize for the long wait, it's been a struggle to write that story for ... several reasons. It finally got a thumbs down too, it made me sad... 118-0 was so much better than 118-1! Curse you Debbie downer!!!
In all seriousness, I hope to have several things up soon. My summer term is... going. Not quite well, but not quite unwell either? It ends at the end of the month and I got a ... lot of watching to do for my final paper. I'll likely do it on Monster, so I should probably start watching that soon.
Anyway, the building I'm in is about to close, but I just felt like I should push out an update.
