So I've been in the loop of it for a spell, but haven't said much about it.
It's a really aggravating thing, but it doesn't really affect me any. I don't draw enough to post on there so if Derpi ends up nuking itself ala' Tumblr, oh well, there're a dozen other art websites where everything is usually allowed.
Personally I don't give a damn what the hell is posted on any website, if I don't like it I just avoid it and go focus on stuff I do like. Of course, you could argue that's a load of bull from my group Caribou Hunters Club which I specifically built for the sole purpose of writing stories that either poke fun at or deconstruct the Fall of Equestria or Zebradom/Supremacy setting.
But I don't actively seek out those stories or the artwork and downvote them or purposefully post comments to start shit. I usually shitpost some extremities on Discord or somewhere else but it's just that, shitposting, I give just enough of a fuck about things to make fun of it or be an ass.
I don't really know what route Derpibooru is gonna take, whether it's going to go the Tumblr route or something else, but I do know people are leaving regardless of whatever decision is made.
Idk.

The best way to fight fascism and Nazism in the modern world is to make fun of it. Seriously, that type of tyrannical dictatorship and authoritarianism only exists in North Korea right now. It's completely unsustainable, only a true idiot would think that type of government would work. Holocaust denying is like flat Earth- just something for trolls. Shouldn't be taken seriously, yet bigger idiots use it as a boogeyman. Best to just laugh at all of them.
ponybooru is new and is following usa laws, so basically anything is allowed. Freedom of speech and whatnot.

I have no clue as to why things like derpi, games workshop and other companies think its a good idea to start going political and virtue signally. Extremely rarely is it ever positive.
