Hey guys, I’ve been warned (with good reasons) that even though I have been given permission to continue the story that vlad has started, I’m still do not have the authority to publish the chapters he already wrote.
No, just because they took it down doesn’t mean they did it with malicious intent, it was because I did in fact, break one of the rules of Fimfiction and they are doing their job, and I’m happy it was just a warning.
A site moderator contacted me about it, they had taken it down for me and gave me a warning not to do it again, and while it may be down right now, I’m asking for ways I can fix this, either by re-writing the original chapters, or by some other means, but until then, you can find the story here.

Well thats... kinda odd. People adopt fics all the time and they don't rewrite anything about them... That's very strange, especially since you had permissions from the original author, Vlad...
Oh, boy, this is messed up... They probably went after you because you re-published it instead of transferring it. The question is what now...

You can transfer the story to another account, so...
IMHO you should ask the mod to transfer the story from Vlad's account, with all the views, votes, and so on. Then the mod asks Vlad to confirm and transfers it to your user without reposting. That way, everyone is happy.

It seems it is possible to restore the deleted story from his account, at least for some time after deletion.
I would suggest contacting the mod and Vlad ASAP before it's too late.

This happened to another popular story, the original author was dieing and didn’t want the story he was writing to vanish so as a last request he/she put it up for open adoption. It got picked up and expanded on, then one day the continuation AND the original were pulled like this for the same reason.
It would seem the mods (I can likely get in trouble for saying this, but to hell with it) cherry pick what is okay and what is in violation of the rules.
Bonnie, contact Vlad and bring him into this bull if you haven’t already. Permission to continue a story shouldn’t be against the Rules at all, we loose to many good stories because of it!

The problem here probably was that the story was re-published, and that is against the rules unless significant changes were made. Look at my post above - the FAQ says you can transfer the story, but TRANSFER is the keyword here.
Hopefully, this can still be fixed using the path I propose above, and without rewriting anything

The issue is that the first two rules under the DNP (Content) section contradicts that, as even a transfer would break them.
The issue right now is the site rules regarding Fictions that have been abandoned or put up for adoption don’t exist and I highly doubt that they ever will as the site staff and owners seem stuck in a box on fire saying “this is fine” when it’s not.

Indeed it seems to contradict it, but... I think this means that you simply cannot post stories made by others when you didn't participate in writing OR have no intention in participating (which, IMHO, make sense).
I'm 100% sure I've seen stories that were transferred with author's permission and then continued by another author. Since Nightmare Bonnie wants to become the co-author, at least in theory, it shouldn't be a problem...
I guess we'll have to wait and see

If you're planning on continuing the story, that technically makes you a co-author, am I right? That could probably work in your appeal.
That's kinda sad they didn't let you finished writing the story how it is. It been awhile seen I read the story and it still a amazing one but if you create a different version of the story I bet you can make it better as the original one. I have faith in you.
Like the others said, try to bring vlad into this or ask to transfer the story. This shouldn't violate the rules
