Good morning/everning everyone!
How is everything going?
So today I was thinking about the status of my only on-going fanfiction: The Fall of the Sun. It is kind of mind boggling to see I have not managed to update it in almost two years! It is hard to believe I have been stuck for so long in one particular scene.
For this reason, I am going to throw this question:
Who still cares for The Fall of the Sun?
This is one mammoth of a fanfiction. I knew that from the start, but of course, as I wrote, it became a fair bit longer than I expected. It is already twice as long as my other long fanfiction 'A Tale of Two Sisters', but it has barely reached the mid-point.
So I need to know if I should endeavour to finish this, or give up. I do believe I have a decent story to tell, but I need to know if the time and effort I would put on finishing it would be worth it.
Looking forwards to what you have to say.
I haven't gotten through it all yet, but if youre willing to write it, I'm willing to read it.
I'm interested in this particular take! Either way, I'm curious to see how it goes.

Admittedly I haven't read the story in some time but I believe I was on the fourth chapter.

I will be honest, I can not justify writing another hundred thousand words for just two people. For comparison, that is similar to the lenght of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.
I will not say I will never touch this story again, but I would not have high hopes to see it finished.
For now, consider it cancelled.

5383892 I am sorry! But it is only halfway done in chapter count, and they are likely to become even longer than the previous one.
I made this entry hopeful that I would find enough interest to justify pushing forwards. I had been struggling to write Judgement for nearly two years, but who knows? Maybe it would be worth it.
But alas, it is not.
Which is a shame. Do not get me wrong, I still think I made a cool story. And it got a decent amount of attention over the years. That was the point of this, to know how much of that attention I still had, after so long.
Read what has been posted, maybe. Let me know what you think. Maybe that will be enough. I am fairly certain there are a couple of people that are interested but did not bother to reply.
Perhaps I should post what I have made of Judgement. I have no idea.
5385533 But I do not need to finish it for myself, the story is done. I know how it progresses and how it ends. I know the consecuences and the choices Twilight has to make.
I do not need to put it into written text to enjoy it myself, just like I have written down none of my headcanons. I am happy with how it turned out, to be honest.
