Instead of going to bed at a reasonable hour last night, I found myself plumbing the memories of my childhood by looking up the 1986 cartoon Popples.
While reading summaries of the characters, I was struck by the description of Party Popple. Watch this episode from the show for about twenty seconds (start from 1:14 if the video doesn't do that on its own):
Is there some evolutionary reason that a light pink body, deeper pink hair, blue eyes, and a propensity for giggling are traits that accompany "the party one"?
All party-archetype characters are but facets of the greater Pink. You have glimpsed into the deeper truths of the universe. Be careful with this knowledge.
