**Another spoiler alert incoming, but I don't think anyone cares at this point.XD**
Behold The Dark Crucible, in both its talisman, and Soul Saber forms.
Just like the Heartstone, this artifact of incredible, wicked power was forged from the living essence of Supreme Lord Tirac: in this case, however, the Darkness that exists within his soul was the crux for this unholy abomination's creation. The result being a small talisman resembling a satchel, but with one disturbing factor added in: this Crucible not only resembles a living heart - it constantly beats with life just the same. An accurate term, since hidden inside that hideous, fanged maw of razor-sharp teeth is The Rainbow of Darkness. Or, to be more accurate, The Element of Anarchy. Yet unlike the elements of harmony, the Element of Anarchy is fluid, and constantly flowing with wicked, corrupt life.
The mere existence of this thing is to corrupt.
Once the wielder holds the Crucible just right, with the intent to use its power, the full force of the Rainbow of Darkness will erupt out of this cursed sack like a storming, raging river of evil. It then slithers, and entraps unfortunate victims in its 'coils', and then brings out their inner darkness to turn them into the Heartless race known as Tiracians. While previously, Tiracians were hybrid monsters given life by Tirek's power, The Dark Crucible creates full-blooded Tiracians out of any living thing without restriction. And the form they take varies on the wielders desire, or the nature of the victim's heart. And as you can imagine, this wretched artifact has been the ultimate source behind Tirac, and then later his reincarnation, Lord Tirek's incredible affinity for Dark Magic, and the backbone behind the construction of his army. The rainbow of darkness itself can perform many other dark feats aside from corruption, including teleportation, shielding, and offensive strikes. It is as much a weapon as it is an artifact. Its Soul Saber form is further proof of that.
For when Tirek has desire to engage in close combat, he wills the Dark Crucible to take on a form befitting its master. That form being a blade mightier than his original Soul Saber, which was his primary weapon of combat for a time. Now, however, with The Dark Crucible, Lord Tirek is twice as powerful as ever before. Even learning to adapt the dark magics of the artifact into himself so that he can corrupt others without the need for the Rainbow: that power is mainly reserved for crafting his soldiers. The Soul Saber form can perform many deadly, yet powerful things of a dark, magical persuasion. Acting like a mystic conduit, Tirek can use the blade to channel Darkness to obliterate his enemies, or defend himself if need be. Only a Crucible Blade, which is the next phase of a Soul Saber's power, of pure Light has any hope of matching against The Dark Crucible. And a way must be found to destroy the weapon before the Great Conjunction arrives.
Because on that day, when the two traveling suns meet Equestria's sun, and shine down upon the world, Lord Tirek will draw upon their celestial power through The Heartstone, and with his secondary tool, The Chariot of Midnight acting as the axis, the demonic centaur's power will grow, and as will The Dark Crucible. And he will use this power to spread The Rainbow of Darkness across the world, blighting and corrupting all it touches, to bring the Age of Eternal Darkness. With the hearts of all the world swallowed by the Darkness, Tirek's power will ascend to the might of his Primordial soul mate, Apophis, once wielded as the Primordial of Anarchy, tear into the other realms of the Harmoniaverse, and spread this great Darkness until he becomes all, and all becomes one with him. He will be omnipotent, and the evil of Anarchy and Darkness shall reign supreme.
But only if the Prophecy is not fulfilled in time to end his power - this time forever, with a new element to add that will change the outcome of this repeated history.
